Day 1 – Arrival to Fazenda Nova Country House. Sleep in a Garden Suite.

Day 2 – After breakfast, enjoy a boat trip in Ria Formosa with a picnic to go. Discover the beautiful coast of Tavira while sailing in the blue waters of the Atlantic. Sleep in a garden suite.

Day 3 – In the morning, experience a visit to the Olival with Olive Oil Tasting with an explanation of the history behind this farm house. In the end, you can taste the typical bread from Algarve with the fantastic olive oil produced in Fazenda Nova. Bottle of Fazenda Nova Olive oil included. Followed by a picnic in the Olival with regional products served in the “olival” with a traditional basket (bottle of Portuguese wine included). We will settle a rustic table in a nice spot in the Olival to enjoy the picnic. Free afternoon. Sleep in a Garden Suite.

Day 4 – Food Tour in Olhão from 10.00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit the historic fishing village of Olhão. Learn about the history of Olhão. Come and taste some of the best and fresh products from our Mediterranean diet at authentic "tascas" and restaurants and visit the local market. You will be walking through unbelievably narrow alleys, quaint little squares full of stories to unravel, and falling in love with the iconic whitewashed traditional houses. Feel the daily life of Olhão, one of the most genuine towns in the whole of Portugal. This tour includes 9 food tastings + 4 beverage tastings + 2 monuments entrances. Sleep in a Garden Suite.

Day 5 – Free day to enjoy the beach or swimming pool. Today, dinner is included in Fazenda (drinks not included). Sleep in a Garden Suite.

Day 6 – After breakfast, end of the tour.

Total value for 2 sharing a garden suite: 1687€

The price includes 5 nights accommodation in a garden suite with breakfast, a boat tour in Ria Formosa with a picnic to go visit the olive grove with olive oil tasting, one picnic, one dinner in Fazenda Nova and a Food tour in Olhão.

Booking Policy

deposits & payments

to confirm your booking at fazenda nova we require a 50% non refundable deposit.

payments for deposits are accepted by bank transfer.  on departure payment can be made by credit card VISA or MASTERCARD, debit card or cash.

children & extra beds

the property is suitable for children over the age of 6, extra beds are charged at 50e per night. babies cots are charged at 10e per night. this needs to be arranged with us prior to arrival.  there is a maximum of one extra bed or cot per room.

minimum & maximum stay

the minimum stay is 2 nights , during the month of august the minimum stay is 5 nights.

check in

Check in is between 2pm - 10.30pm. Later check in's incur a supplement and are by prior arrangement only.

Check out is by 11am. 

Cancellation Policy

The 50% deposit is non refundable.

If a cancellation is made with 21 days notice, the deposit can be rolled over to use for alternative dates. 

For cancellations made between 20 to 14 days notice 75% of the amount of the stay is payable.

For cancellations made between 13 to 8 days notice 85% of the amount of the stay is payable.

For bookings cancelled with less than 8 days notice or 'no shows' the full amount of the stay is payable.

This policy has been modified as at 08.05.2016 and is applicable for all bookings made on or after this date.
